The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has condemned Russian President Vladimir Putin after a Russian missile attack against the capital of Ukraine, kyiv, killed at least 12 people and injured boxes.

Publishing Thursday on the Truth social platform, which he owns, Trump wrote that the attacks “were not necessary” and “very badly scheduled.

“Vladimir, stop! 5,000 soldiers a week,” said the post.

Trump’s direct appeal to Putin came after the Ukrainian president, Volodyyr Zenskyy, urged his allies to put Russia under more pressure to stop his war, which Begen began three years ago.

At a press conference in South Africa with its president, Cyril Ramaphosa, Zenskyy said: “We see signs that the United States press Russia as part of their peace. We believe we can bring our sides closer.”

In informing of Washington, DC, Mika Hanna de Al Jazeera said that Trump on Truth Social message is a rare attempt to press Putin.

“But once again, Trump is using ‘Vladimir’, which could be interpreted as an almost affectionate term, once again the only relationship with Putin instead of the nature of his relationship with the Ukrainian leader,” Hey.

“Trump and his administration in recent days and have been pressing immense pressure on Ukrainian leadership, basically saying they have to renounce the territory to make a peace agreement,” said Hanna.

“It has not applied the same pressure to the Russian leader, so there seems to be a bias since the United States tries to negotiate a peace between the country at war,” he added.

George Barros, an analyst at the Institute for the Study of the United States War, also believes that the United States has several ways of exercising greater pressure on Putin IFT chooses to do so.

“There are things that the United States can do to * do * Vladimir stop. Putin has vulnerabilities, we are overlooking, we are overlooking or choosing not to take advantage of,” Barros said in a publication on social networks.

“Putin is depositing in the United States letting Russia out of hook despite Russia’s precarious position,” he added.

‘Windows breaking and the doors fall on their hinges’

The Ukrainian army said that Russia used at least 11 Balistic missiles of Iskander, 55 cruise missiles of various types and four guided bombs thrown from tactical airplanes in her attack on kyiv on Thursday.

He said that at least 145 Shahed drones designed with Iranians and drones simulators of various types were also involved and the projectiles were launched from Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod and other Russian regions.

Olen Davydiuk, a 33 -year -old lawyer in kyiv, told the AFP news agency that he saw Windows breaking and the doors “falling from her hinges” last the flood.

“The people were there taken from the rubble. They said there were also dead people there,” he added.

The Ukrainian army said that seven of the ballistic missiles, 37 of the cruise missiles, all guided bombs and 64 drones were intercepted and 68 drone simulators fell without causing any damage.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said: “The objectives of the strike were achieved. All objects were beaten.”

The Ministry said that Russian military operations in the first line of war, even in eastern Ukraine, killed hundreds of members of the Ukrainian service and destroyed tanks and armored vehicles on the last day.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also accused the Ukrainian President of Diplomacy of “Demolition” aimed at reaching a peace agreement amid conversations on the potential recognition of the annexation of Russia of Crimea, which the Trump administration has proposed.

The Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, told journalists that Zenskyy lacks the ability to negotiate an agreement, added that the continuous transfers of EU weapons to Ukraine foster more conflicts.

Europe also condemns Putin

However, the head of foreign policy of the European Union, Kaja Kallas, wrote in an X publication that Moscow’s attacks against Ukraine are not a search or peace but “a mockery of it.”

“The real obstacle is not Ukraine, but Russia, whose war objectives have not changed,” he said.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, also said that Putin needed to “stop lipping” about wanting peace in Ukraine as he continued attacking the country.

“The only thing to do is that President Putin finally stops lying,” Macron said during a visit to Madagascar on Thursday.

With Thursday’s attacks against kyiv, throwing even more doubts about the efforts of the United States to boost Russia and Ukraine to stop at the fight, Macron said that Putin was the only person who held a proposal.

“In Ukraine, just because one answer: does President Putin agree with a high unconditional fire?” Macron said.

“If President Putin says yes, weapons will shut up tomorrow. Lives will be saved.”
