Cleveland – Jazz Chisholm Jr. has renounced his body to make some bright plays in defense this season.

On Monday night, he rescued a gentle lining blow to the second base because there was something more related to his exit from the corner of the eye: a broken bat.

The play became a simple RBI for Brayan Rocchio in the 6-4 defeat of the Yankees against the Guardians in the progressive field, but Chishholm was not doubting himself.

“That is difficult,” he said.

“I want to make every game for my boy, but at the same time, you don’t want to die. You have a sharp object that comes to you.

Chishholm is talking about experience, with one leg hit in the calf for a broken bat when he played campocorto in high-a.

Hey, he also said he has seen other followers when he was with the Marlins.

A similar play occurred this weekend in Tampa, when Aaron Judge connected a territory of the third base of the third base and the Junior Caminero de los Rays did not present it because the wooden fragment was flying its path.

“That is why I am a little more cautious about going to balls when the bat is on the same lane,” said Chisholm, who then crushed a two -run homer, his seventh of the season.

The phone call did not end with Aaron Judge receiving an eighth home run.

But apart from that, Aaron Boone seemed to appreciate his phone call with Michael Hill, senior vice president of operations in the MLB field, on Monday, to express his frustration with the referees (and a sub-box-vadin flying Freele-Vadin Fly-In-Feed what the Yankees manager believed it was a fair time.

“[Hill] He just said: ‘Hey, it was a difficult decision,’ “said Boone in Progressive Field before opening a series against the Guardians.” Obioly is not in a major league park, the third mallet complicates it and all that. I just said it was a difficult decision, which obviously was, I suppose. “

Boone had been incredulous on Sunday that the call in the field was not exaggerated, saying: “The audacity of the call position is remarkable.”

But after reviewing all relevant angles, the repetition official could not definitely determine that the ball left the playing field in fair territory.

And it was not for lack of cameras due to the rays that played in the Yankees spring training house, as a source said that the variety of cameras on stage, including those with high frame rates, was equal to other places.

The judge pointed out that the shortest foul posts did not help the referees to make the proper determination of fair or foul in the field, he thought it was not clear if that problem could be approached in Steinbrenner Field.

Meanwhile, Boone accredited Hill for listening to him, as he has often done it over the years every time the Yankees manager has had problems with the referees.

“I will say that Mike is tremendous,” said Boone. “I try to be respectful, even when I am warming up a little. But he is really good to give you the forum and the floor to speak and talk. It returns thoughts. It is usually very responsible for” hey, we ‘,, I ,, me, me, me,. Mistaken. “

Initially, the Yankees thought that Marcus Stroman could increase again quite quickly to return from the injured list in a short time.

But 10 days after his last beginning, Straw Man still has some problems with his left knee and does not sound particularly close to returning.

“He still feels some things there, so he has done it, he has thrown, but he is still a child or is cleaning the way for him,” said Boone. “Because he still felt some things there.”

Stroman placement in the 15 -day inflammatory coincided with the return of Clarke Schmidt of the IL, so the Yankees did not need a hole in the rotation.

But its depth beyond its five current headlines is unstable, and that is with Carlos Carrasco that he is still trying to prove that he has enough in the tank to at least take the Yankees to June, which is Luis Gil’s first strain.

Stroban, 33, who is winning $ 18.5 million this season, has an award option for $ 18 million by 2026 that triggers if he launches 140 tickets this season, which would be more than more time to remain in the IL.

“I know there are some nervous things that were irritating him a bit,” said Boone. “We will continue working to try to get it physically where you need to be and then, hopefully, start building it again.”

Ben Rice. Boone said he hopes to have Rice back in the alignment on Tuesday.

“He had a good day,” said Boone. But he taught batting practice in the cage at dawn on Monday and then hit more in the previous game of the field, which was an encouraging signal. It was expected to be available from the bank and could return to the alignment before this series ends.

The Trent Grisham al Rojo Vivo was placed on the paternity list on Monday, with the Jorbit Vivas Player called Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to take its place on the list until I returned (which could be as late as Friday).

With gray disappeared and the rice even outside, Judge had a second consecutive day in DH, while Pablo Reyes launched the beginning in the right garden.

DJ Lemahieu (calf voltage) will begin a rehabilitation task on Tuesday with Double-A Somerset. … Jonathan Loáisiga (elbow surgery) is scheduled to launch a live batting practice session more on Wednesday before starting a rehabilitation task on Saturday with Tampa Single-A. … Giancarlo Stanton (tennis elbows) has started running, said Boone, but is still hitting the suitcraft machine.
