Oklahoma City-The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 131-80 in game 1 of his playoff series of the west conference of the first round on Sunday, the fifth margin of victory in the history of the Postseason of the NBA.

The margin of 51 points was seven points from the record and was the biggest victory of game 1 in the history of the NBA playoffs.

Jalen Williams scored 20 points and Chet Holmgren had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the league score champion with almost 33 points per game, scored only 15. The Thunder still shot 50.5% from the field.

“We play our identity,” Gilgous-Alexander said. “Nothing more, nothing less than that. We were the ones who were all the year … and it will be the key to our success, simply be faithful to who we are.”

Gilgeous-Alexander had said several times since the defeat of Oklahoma City against Dallas in the semifinals of the West Conference last season that would be intentional about keeping their teammates better prepared for this postseason.

So far, so good.

“I have a large group of boys around me, and I know it,” said Gilgous-Alexander. “And I have known it for a long time … obviously they played incredible.”

Yes, Morant scored 17 points for Memphis in just 6 of 17 shots. Years Jackson Jr., who averaged only about 22 points in the regular season, scored four points in 2 of 13 shots. The Grizzlies fired only 34.4% in general.

The Thunder, which ended the regular season with a better record of League 68-14, Tok Tok Control with a 20-0 race that cools an advantage of 55-22 in the second quarter. They took an advantage of 35 points in the part -time.

“I simply felt that after that, the energy that Just Child was there and we were just trying to talk to Perurselves to return to the game,” said Morant.

This was Memphis’s first playoff game under the interim coach Tuomas Iisalo. He trained only nine regular NBA season competitions before playing games.

“If you are in a playoff series, it is a better one of the seven,” said Iisalo. “It doesn’t matter if you win for a point in a bell or desire for 50 points, you get a victory. Therefore, fortunately for us, there is only one form of this and that is up. And we will analyze it and learn from it.

Game 2 is Tuesday, and Thunder Mark Daigneault coach awaits a closer game.

“They played 36 hours ago and had an emotional game, they had to change and play at noon today, which is a really difficult change,” said Daigneeult. “So they will be better on Tuesday. So I thought we did a good job. But I don’t think we can expect that (again). You know they will play much better than that.”
