Knicks’ ‘problematic’ rebounding was a microcosm of Game 2 loss

The Pistons slightly launched the Knicks in the glass in game 1.

Game 2 was a different story.

It was close.

Detroit surpassed the Knicks for 14, a key part of his victory of equalization in the 100-94 series in the garden on Monday night.

“The rebound was problematic all night, so that is probably the whole game,” said coach Tom Thibodeau.

Outside a late rally in the fourth quarter, they were surpassed by Detroit.

“We simply did not get those 50/50 basketball,” said Karl-Anthony Towns. “They did a great job when getting them and did a great job when they found those long rebounds in different ways. They knew permanently after game 1 that had to leave with more intensity and we had to match it and we didn’t do it tonight.”

Duration of the regular season, both teams were among the 10 best as a percentage of rebounds.

The Pistons were fifth and the ninth Knicks.

Through two games, Detroit is winning the battle.


The unconditional defensive of the Pistons, Isaiah Stewart, did not play in game 2 on Monday night and its progress status is uncle.

Stewart was listed as questionable with the inflammation of the right knee before game 2 before being reported as “outside” approximately two hours before the game.

It is an important loss for the Pistons, which depend on Stewart being their defense air traffic controller.

Piston coach JB BickerStaff said Stewart’s availability will be determined “day by day.”

A product from the north of the state of Rochester, Stewart worked during most of its 19 minutes of action in game 1.

He was seen doing a grimace after an immersion in the alley in the first quarter.

Sny reported that Stewart submitted to imagining in his right leg on Saturday night.

Paul Rode replaced Stewart in Detroit’s rotation and contributed six points and a block in 11 minutes.
