A second round of conversations between Iran and the United States about the nuclear program that advanced Tehran quickly, said Saturday in Rome, said an American official.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss closed negotiations in the Omar Embassy in the neighborhood of Rome in Camilluccia.

Negotiations seek to build at an initial meeting held in Oman last weekend.

The conversations will be mediated by Omaní Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busidi.

Its success will depend on the American billionaire Steve Witkoff, the envoy of the president of the United States of President Donald Trump and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

At risk it is a possible American or Israeli military strike in the nuclear sites of Iran, or the Iranians who carry out their threats to pursue an atomic weapon.

Meanwhile, tensions in the Middle East have fired on the Israel-Ahamas War in the Gaza Strip and after the US air attacks aimed at the hutis rebels backed by Yemen, killed more than 70 people and wounded boxes.
