According to the reports, the USC Male University Basketball Prospect and the five -star University Basketball Prospect Alijah Arenas have been placed in a medically induced coma after being involved in a serious car accident on Thursday, according to ESPN.
He is the 18-year-old son of former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas, three times All-Star.
Arenas crashed his Tesla Cybertruck, according to a TMZ report, which, according to the reports, was on fire when the emergency response reached the scene around 4:55 am on Thursday morning. The report did not indicate where the accident occurred specifically.
Arenas is one of the most wanted recruits in the recruitment class of this year, after having received numerous other power programs such as Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky and Louisville before committing to USC on January 30, according to Sports Illustrated.
