Acting on the decision of the Night of Security of the Cabinet Committee, the Government decided on Thursday to suspend visa services to Pakistani citizens with immediate effect and asked them to leave India before April 27.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) issued a statement and said that all existing visas issued by India to the national patistani are revoked with effect as of April 27, 2025, but those here in medical visas have been a country.

“All Pakistani citizens currently in India must leave India before the expiration of the visas, as is now modified,” said Mea’s statement.

The Ministry declared that Indian citizens are strongly advised to avoid traveling to Pakistan. At the same time, he suggested to Indian citizens currently in Pakistan to return to India as soon as possible.

Due to the deadline of the government, Pakistani citizens have begun to reach Attari-Wagah Border Integrated Check Post (ICP) in Amritsar to take the land route to return home.

A Karachi family said they went to Delhi to meet their relatives, but that they have to shorten their stay because the government reduced the visas or the Pakistani after Pahalgam’s terrorist attack.

“We came here (India) on April 15 and today we returned home, although we had a visa for 45 days,” said Mansur, one of the family members, while we condemn the horror strike.

Some Indian citizens with visa to travel to Pakistan also arrived at ICP on Thursday, realizing that little circulation between the two countries has been reduced.

“We received the Visa two months,” said an elderly member from a Gujarat family who wanted to travel to Pakistan to meet his relatives. After learning that the installation has been suspended, they decided to return to their state.

After the Indian government closed the Attari ICP to degrade diplomatic relations with Islamabad, the Punjab Police Protocol, Arun Mahal Mahal Mahal Mahal, the Pakistani citizens returned home, while 105 Indian citizens returned to India.

Hello, he also declared that the iconic doors in Attari remained closed, but the ceremonies were carried out separately on both sides of the border.

The border security force (BSF) has reduced the retirement ceremony in Attari, Hussainiwala and Sadki along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab following the Pahalgam attack.
