The Bears are looking to trade up, and they might have one player in mind

With the NFL 2025 draft just a few hours away, we have not yet seen an exchange in the first round. This marks the longest low season cycle in the era of the modern draft that we have not seen a trade, since Joe Montana was negotiated only five days before the 1993 NFL draft.

But that could be about to change.

According to Pat Leonard of New York Daily NewsThe Chicago Bears call the teams ahead of them in the first round, seeking to move from the selection of tens on Thursday night. Leonard also points out that “six” teams ahead of the bears are looking to go back:

With Leonard sharing this report, one might think that the Bears could be looking to get to No. 3, where New York giants are currently sitting in the first round, to have the opportunity to write the Penn State State Abdul Carter passes corridor. This could also be a Bears movement to move and write the two -way star, Travis Hunter Jr.,

However, there is probably another player who is pointing, and that talks about how much the NFL has changed in recent years.

Boise State Ashton Jeanty corridor.

The points are not difficult to connect.

According to a Insider Espn Column on the weekend, Adam Schefter reported that league experts believe that the Bears are “praying” that the Boise State corridor falls to the theme in number 10.

“There are multiple personnel people who believe that the bears pray for Jeanty to slip into number 10. They think that the new Bears coach, Ben Johnson, could present Jeanty and D’Ende Swift as a two -headed duo with David Montgomery’s offensive coordinator,” writes this weekend.

A conflict point in that plan? The Las Vegas Raiders in number 6. Through the entire Draft cycle, Jegado de los Raiders in that place has been one of the easiest lines to complete a simulated draft.

But could the Bears try to try to jump in front of Las Vegas through an exchange, say with the Jacksonville Jaguars in No. 5, to land Jeitty?

That could be the reason for these last rumors.

The general manager of Chicago, Ryan Poles, hinted at some movements to last his press conference prior to the Draft. “I think this will be a bit wild, but we will be prepared for all the different scenarios that appear,” said Poles on Tuesday.

The assistant Ian Cunningham predicted that the first round would be “wild.”

“It could become wild, you could go crazy. Sit and look. We have no feeling at this time. We’ll see,” Cunningham added.

Change in the first round for a corridor? That would be wild.
