Kiiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyh accused Russia on Sunday to create a false appearance of honoring a high Easter fire, saying that Moscow continued to launch attacks after the Russian president Vladimir Putin.
“From the morning of Easter, we can say that the Russian army is trying to create a general impression of a high fire, but in some places, it does not abandon individual attempts to advance and inflict losses to Ukraine,” Zelensky said in a position.
Despite the Putin statement of a high Easter fire on Saturday, Zenskyy Sid on Sunday morning that the Ukrainian forces had registered 59 cases of Russian bombings and five assaults per units along the front line, as well as two drone strikes.
In a subsequent update, Zenskyy said that although Ukraine declared a symmetrical approach to Russian actions, there was an increase in Russian bombing and drones attacks from 10 am (0700 GMT). He said, however, that it was “something good, at least, that there were no sirens of air attacks.”
“In practice, Putin does not have total control over his army, or the situation shows that in Russia, they have no intention of making a genuine movement to end the war, and they are only interested in a favorable provercy,” he was aware.
Zenskyy said that Russia must live up to the conditions of high fire and reiterated the sacrifice of Ukraine to extend the truce for 30 days, from midnight on Sunday. He said the proposal “remains on the table” and added: “We will act according to the real situation in the field.”
Zenskyy said Saturday night that some areas were calmer since the high fire was announced, which said Putin was the “true cause” of war. “As soon as Putin cools an order to reduce attacks, the intensity of attacks and murders fell. The only source of this war and its extension is in Russia,” Hey wrote in X.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said Sunday that the Ukrainian forces launched night attacks in the Donetsk region despite the high fire, and had 48 drones in the Russian territory. According to the Ministry, there were “dead and injured among the civilian population”, without giving details. He affirmed that the Russian troops had strictly observed the high fire.
Russia officials installed in the Kherson’s Ukrainated Ukrainian region also said that the Ukrainian forces continued their attacks.
Only a few hours after announcing the fire, Putin attended a Easter service on Saturday night in the cathedral of Christ of Christ of Moscow, directed by Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church and a vocal supporter of Putin and the war in Ukraine.
According to the Kremlin, El Alto El Fuego will last from 6 PM, Moscow time (1500 GMT) on Saturday at midnight (2100 GMT) after Easter Sunday.
Putin did not offer details about the high fire would be monitored or if he covered air attacks or in terrestrial battles that are enraged throughout the day.
His announcement occurred after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said Friday that negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are “reaching a critical point” and insisted that Neith Side is “playing” in his impulse to end the three -year agitation.
