President Trump announced plans to flood cities administered by Democrats, Namelly New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, with new and higher immigration waves and customs compliance agents to achieve the “largest mass deportation program in history.”
Trump highlighted the radical change addressed to the majority Democratic cities in Truth Social on Sunday night while praising ice agents for their “incredible strength, determination and courage.”
“To achieve this, we must expand efforts to stop and deport illegal foreigners in the largest cities in the United States, such as Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, where millions of illegal foreigners reside,” Trump wrote.
“These, and other similar cities, are the nucleus of the Democratic Power Center, where they are illegal foreigners to expand their voting base, cheat in the elections and grow the welfare state, steal good salary jobs and benefits of a worker American citizen.”
The states administered by the Republicans such as Texas, who house five of the largest cities in the United States, including Houston and San Antonio, did not stay out of the president’s position.
However, none of the great urban centers of the state of the lonely star call themselves “sanctuary cities”.
“These radical left Democrats are wrong, they hate our country and really want to destroy our internal cities, and they do it a good job!” The commander in chief added in his position.
“And that is why I want ice, border patrol and our great and patriotic agents of the law, are concentrated in our cities of crime and mortal interior cities, and in those places where the Sanctuary cities play such an important role.
Trump previously promised that “the changes will come” last week after admitting that the offensive of his administration against immigration was to massacre to the key American industries, namely agriculture and hospitality.
The Agriculture Department estimates that almost half of the 850,000 crops workers in the United States are undocumented, which puts the US food supply chain at risk of total collapse if all are deported.
Although the state of New York is the home of the largest sanctuary city in the country, it occupies the first place nationwide in the production of many crops and products, including basic home products such as yogurt and cottage cheese, according to the New York Agriculture Office.
With the Trump approach established in the sanctuary cities, it is the uncle how other parts of the democratic states can be affected, or the ice activity will focus mainly on metropolitan areas in the future.
Even so, the raids have already expanded beyond the fields with ice agents that appear from judges to schools. The change quickly frightened many immigrant workers away from the public eye.
The data cited by the Wall Street Journal showed how immigrant purchase habits changed drastically online. The big brands also saw a strong decrease in the traffic of Hispanic customers, with places that have been victims of raids such as Home Depot watching a 8.7%drop.
