Welltheory, a digital health company that addresses autoimmune disease, has raised $ 5 million in funds and has launched two new AI tools, the company announced Thursday.

Atherton, Welltheory, based in California, treats autoimmune conditions such as Addison’s disease, celiac disease, multiple sclerosis and lupus. Using a collaborative care model, it is associated with patient doctors to deliver personalized plans focused on nutrition, stress, sleep and movement. The company offers video, messages and diagnostic sessions of unlimited experts. It serves employers and health plans.

The increase of $ 5 million included the support of the new Samsung Next, Opal Ventures and UP2 Fund investors, as well as the existing acceler, Ovo Fund and Boxgroup investors. In total, the company has raised $ 12 million.

The financing will help the company to expand in the markets of employers and health plans, as well as to “accelerate the development of its care infrastructure with AI for suppliers and members,” the announcement said.

Welltheory also announced the launch of two AI tools: Care Scribe and Care Hub. Care Scribe Transcribe Member sessions, write the tracking notes and create care plans that are reviewed and can be customized by suppliers. Care Hub, meanwhile, members of the members add, the history of sessions and laboratory ideas and places them in one place.

“The provision of care for patients with autoimmune disease is an incredible complex, our team built these tools to help return to our care team for what matters most: supporting our members,” said Claire Ruudolph, co -founder and product director. “With Welltheory’s Care Hub and Care Scribe, We’re Building The Modern Infrastructure Autoimmune Care Has Always Needed – Intelligent, Integrated Systems That Streamline Repetitive Tasks, amplify What Meetos Care Human Ourpip Ourpiped, and Eiers Ourpiped, and Equos Ourpiped, and Equos Ourpiped, and Eiers Ourpiped, and Equos Ourpip, and Equipy occupied, and equipped leisure of equipped, and equip, equip, and equip, and equip, and equip, and equip, and be scale.

Financing and AI ads occur after Welltheory has shared a results report last month on its model. He found that the company’s model resulted in 81% of the members who reported improved digestive symptoms, 55% informing fatigue improvements and 45% informing pain improvements.

The inspiration for Welltheory was born from the CEO and co -founder Ellen Rudolph, the experience of finding care for his autoimmune condition. He experienced a list of inexplicable symptoms, which include cerebral fog, gastrointestinal problems and fatigue, and was trained at age 25. It was fired by a variety of doctors, until it finally found answers through some laboratory results. She may build theory well to help others with similar challenges.

Duration A recent interview at the Business Group On Health Conference, Rudolph shared that the company’s next priorities include building associations with employers and health plans, investing in AI and reducing administrative tasks for suppliers. In addition, the company expects to create new health programs, similar to the Women’s Health Program for the hormonal conditions it launched in December.

“We see many of these comorbidities or sets of child condition or overlap, due to lack of a better word. So definitely more to come there,” he said.
