Techcrunch is joining forces with Vivatech, the largest starting event and technology in Europe, to select new companies for the prestigious innovation of Vivatech of the year in Vivatech 2025. This association will highlight exceptional creativity, technological intuition.
The Vivatech Innovation of the Year award recognizes and celebrates exhibiting new companies in Vivatech 2025 that show an outstanding innovation, advanced technological abilities and significant potential to revolutionize its respective industry.
Techcrunch will select a short list of the 30 main candidates, will appoint a jury member to help select the last five and participate on June 11 along with the full duration of the jury, the final presentation of the award. On June 12, Techcrunch will also serve as the official host of the Vivatech global awards ceremony, where the winners of the five Vivatech Awards will be announced, providing the master of the ceremony to lead the event with presentations.

The winner of the Innovation of the Year award will also ensure a place in the highly competitive Battlefield 200 Starting Switch, with eligibility to present at the Ancuing Anchcrunch Annual Event held in San Francisco in October 2025.

- It must be a startup in Vivatech 2025
- Founded on or after 2020
- Less than 50 employees
- Selection of five finalists – June 4
- Finalist launch session at Vivatech – June 11
- Global Vivatech Awards ceremony – June 12
