Samsung has hinted at the arrival of a new foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, which may be launching alongside other foldable models later this year.
In a recent post on its newsroom, the tech giant teased an “Ultra-experience” with a foldable form factor, leaving many speculating about what features this new device will bring.
Though the company did not reveal specifics, the concluding statement, “the Ultra experience is ready to unfold,” suggests that the launch could be imminent.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra may be unveiled alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in July, as leaks surrounding these devices have surfaced in recent weeks.
Samsung’s tease comes at a time when its current foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, holds the title of the most expensive widely available phone in the company’s lineup.
Bigger Screens and Better Cameras
While Samsung’s teaser doesn’t go into full detail, it hints at significant upgrades for the Ultra model.
The company mentioned features such as “bigger screens, better cameras, and new ways to connect and create,” along with “industry-leading hardware, cutting-edge performance, and seamless AI integration optimized for the foldable format.”
Samsung included a GIF in the teaser showing the outline of a foldable phone, which resembles the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
However, some have speculated that these features might be incorporated into the standard Galaxy Z Fold 7 as well.
