Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), administered by the State, said Thursday that its director (marketing) Sanjay Khanna has assumed the additional position of the president and managing director of the Petroleum Marketing Company (WTO).
This is after G Krishnakumar retired as CMD on April 30.
A chemical engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Touchirapalli and Postgraduate in Finance Management of the University of Mumbai, Khanna has more than 3 decades of experience in refinery and technical services operations.
They anchored several prestigious projects to establish new process units in refineries in Mumbai, Kochi and Numalarh.
Before becoming a director (refineries), he directed the BPCL refineries in Kochi and Mumbai. As executive director of Kochi Refinery, he played a key role in the implementation of the first ‘Petrochemical Niche’ of BPCL, Petrochemical Project derived from Propylene (PDPP).
Khanna also serves as director at the Bharat Petro Resources (BPRL) and Ratnogiri Refinery and Petrophhemical (RRPL) boards.
In addition, he is also the current president of the ‘Technical Committee for Petroleum Refineries’ under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG).
Separately, the company said the director (HR) Raj Kumar Dubey has tasks about the additional position of the director (marketing).
With a professional tension of about 35 years in the development of business and human capital, Dubey is a student or Nit Allahabad with a degree in mechanical engineering and has completed his master’s degree in Business Administration of the International Center for the Promotion of Enterprises, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
